"And Then There Were None" is a novel written by Agatha Christie. This popular book was made into several movies over different time periods.
As the plot begins, a man named U.N Owen (i.e. unknown) anonymously invites ten people to a large country home on a remote island called Indian Island. The ten people do not know each other or why they were brought together on the island.
They ten people quickly learn from a recording left by UN Owen that they all have in common that each of them has murdered or caused the death of a person in their past.
Next, just like in the nursery rhyme, "Ten Little Indians", the ten people start dying off one at a time by very bizarre causes. Strangely, a sculpture with ten little indians statues starts having one of its Indian statues disappear each time a new person is found dead...until there were None .
